A RESIDENTIAL RETREAT
Monument Falls was first established in the late 90s and continues to be developed by new property owners. Most of our one hundred properties are 5 -10 acres, ensuring tranquility to our residents. Approximately 50 of our 100 lots have been developed, with a mix of full-time and part-time residents. We are home to wildlife, nature, and tranquility in a heavily-wooded setting. Many properties enjoy sunset vistas, and all enjoy privacy due to the remoteness of the location. We are located approximately 30 minutes from the city centers of Jasper and Ellijay, 45 minutes from Blue Ridge, Canton, and Dawsonville. The nearest gas station or small store is 14 miles away. Maintaining a property in this community requires willingness to be prepared for inclement weather since all roads are privately maintained. Wise residents have backup generators and propane heat and other survival supplies stocked. Hiking trails are nearby in Dawson Forest, Eagles Rest Park, and Pickens County Preserve. We are 15 miles from Amicalola State Park. The original terminus to the Appalachian Trail is also nearby. Please note that there are separate entrances to Monument Falls I and Monument Falls II, both on Monument Road off Georgia Highway 136. GOOGLE MAPS MONUMENT FALLS MAP (PDF) |
