Living Above the Clouds

Monument Falls is a community of 100 properties in the southern foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in beautiful North Georgia.  Located at the highest point in Pickens County, just 72 miles north of Atlanta, our 3,000-ft elevation ensures mild summers, colder winters, and plenty of days above the clouds. Situated in heavily forested mountain terrain, our lots abound with wildlife, vistas, creeks, and waterfalls.

​DO NOT FEED BEARS!
Feeding bears harms them and puts other people and children in danger! It is also ILLEGAL.

Leaving food of any kind (including deer feed) or birdseed outside or in your vehicles will invite bears and potentially lead to property damage. Bears that get fed by humans often end up put down due to their inability to live on their own. Please help us KEEP BEARS WILD.

About Monument Road

Our community is surrounded by beautiful undeveloped land with spectacular creeks, waterfalls, and beautiful vistas.  The  *only* land open to the public is at the end of Monument Road at Eagles Rest Park (open sunrise to sunset). There are no campfires allowed. 

ALL property--whether developed or not--is privately owned.  Please be respectful of private property rights. Do not enter any areas without the owner’s explicit permission. If you rent out your property, please communicate your boundaries clearly. Guests, please know where you are allowed before walking through the woods.  

Owners are encouraged to contact 911 or call the Pickens County Sheriff at (706) 253-8901 to identify trespassers.
